A chopping board is an indispensable attribute of any kitchen. It greatly simplifies the cooking process, making it more hygienic and safe. However, as it turns out, its use can provoke the emergence of a large amount of microplastics.
According to a recent study conducted by Canadian experts, it was found that using a cutting board for 12 months causes up to 79 million particles of this material. The reason for this is the gradual breakdown of the product and the release of tiny microplastic particles.
