Algae forests around the world have become threatened with extinction

Despite their estimated global value of $500bn, these majestic underwater forests are not immune to the effects of the climate crisis.

These areas need vital protection from abnormal heat, invasive species and herbivores. Unless action is taken to protect kelp forests, the dramatic decline of algal forests will put all of humanity at risk.
